SewConnect Terms of Use

The rules of using SewConnect, written to be read rather than to be skipped.
1. What SewConnect is
A private app for two people: a conversation, an optional cycle calendar, a shared virtual pet and a few small games. It is offered free of charge. It is not a medical device and not a contraceptive.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over. By creating an account you confirm that you are, and that everything you tell us at signup is true. One person, one account. Do not create an account for somebody else, and do not share your password with anyone — including your partner.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done from your account. Passwords cannot be recovered: we store only an irreversible hash, so if you forget it there is currently no way back into the account. Choose something you will remember.
If you think someone else has got into your account, change your password and write to us.
4. Your partner
The app links exactly two people. When you connect with someone, they can see your messages, whether you are online, your shared pet's diary, and — only if you switch it on — the phase of your cycle and how many days until the next one. Nothing about your cycle is shared until you turn sharing on yourself.
If either of you deletes their account, the partnership ends and the whole conversation goes, in both directions. Half a conversation is worse than none, and there are only ever two of you in it.
5. What you may not do
- Harass, threaten, or abuse the person you are connected to, or use the app to monitor or control them.
- Send anything unlawful, or anything involving a minor.
- Break into, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
- Automate access, scrape, or run more accounts than the one that is yours.
- Impersonate someone else.
We may suspend or delete an account that does these things. Where a real person is being harmed, we will act without waiting.
6. Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us only the narrow permission needed to run the app: to store your messages and show them to the one person you sent them to. We do not use your content for anything else — no ads, no analytics, no training. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
7. What we can and cannot promise
Said plainly, because it matters more here than in most terms: SewConnect is a small app run by one person on a single server.
- It is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind.
- There is no uptime guarantee. It may be down, and it may lose data.
- Backups exist but are kept for up to 3 days only, and they are not a promise. Do not treat SewConnect as the only copy of anything you would be sad to lose. The Download my data button exists partly for this.
- Cycle predictions are guesses drawn from what you logged. They are not medical advice and must not be relied on for contraception or for any health decision. Ask a doctor.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
8. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from the You tab, with no notice and no reason. See the deletion page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5, or stop offering the service altogether. If we ever shut SewConnect down deliberately, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can download your data first.
9. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we bump the version at the top and the app asks you to read and accept them again next time you open it. If you do not accept, you can download your data and delete your account.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away the protections of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.

1. SewConnect nedir
İki kişilik özel bir uygulama: bir sohbet, isteğe bağlı bir döngü takvimi, ortak bir sanal evcil hayvan ve birkaç küçük oyun. Ücretsizdir. Tıbbi bir cihaz ya da bir korunma yöntemi değildir.
2. Kimler kullanabilir
18 yaşından büyük olmalısın. Hesap açarak bunu ve kayıt sırasında verdiğin bilgilerin doğru olduğunu beyan edersin. Bir kişi, bir hesap. Başkası adına hesap açma; şifreni kimseyle — partnerin dâhil — paylaşma.
3. Hesabın
Şifreni saklamaktan ve hesabından yapılan her şeyden sen sorumlusun. Şifreler kurtarılamaz: yalnızca geri döndürülemez bir özetini tutarız, bu yüzden unutursan şu an hesaba dönüş yolu yoktur. Hatırlayacağın bir şey seç.
4. Partnerin
Uygulama tam olarak iki kişiyi bağlar. Bağlandığın kişi mesajlarını, çevrimiçi olup olmadığını, ortak hayvanınızın günlüğünü ve — yalnızca sen açarsan — döngünün evresini ve sonraki döneme kaç gün kaldığını görür. Sen paylaşımı açmadan döngüne dair hiçbir şey paylaşılmaz.
İkinizden biri hesabını silerse bağ sona erer ve sohbetin tamamı her iki yönde de silinir.
5. Yapılmaması gerekenler
- Bağlı olduğun kişiyi taciz etmek, tehdit etmek, ona kötü davranmak ya da uygulamayı onu izlemek/denetlemek için kullanmak.
- Hukuka aykırı ya da bir çocuğu içeren içerik göndermek.
- Servise sızmaya, aşırı yük bindirmeye ya da sana ait olmayan verilere ulaşmaya çalışmak.
- Otomatik erişim, veri kazıma ya da birden fazla hesap.
- Başkasının kimliğine bürünmek.
Bunları yapan hesapları askıya alabilir ya da silebiliriz.
6. İçeriğin
Yazdıkların senindir. Bize yalnızca uygulamayı çalıştırmak için gereken dar izni verirsin: mesajlarını saklamak ve gönderdiğin tek kişiye göstermek. Başka hiçbir şey için kullanmayız. Ayrıntı için Gizlilik Politikası.
7. Söz verebildiklerimiz ve veremediklerimiz
- Uygulama olduğu gibi sunulur; hiçbir garanti verilmez.
- Kesintisizlik garantisi yoktur. Kapanabilir, veri kaybı yaşanabilir.
- Yedekler yalnızca 3 güne kadar tutulur ve bir taahhüt değildir. Kaybetmeye üzüleceğin hiçbir şeyin tek kopyası burada olmasın. Verilerimi indir düğmesi kısmen bunun içindir.
- Döngü tahminleri girdiğin verilerden çıkarılan tahminlerdir. Tıbbi tavsiye değildir; korunma ya da herhangi bir sağlık kararı için güvenilmemelidir. Doktoruna sor.
- Hukukun izin verdiği ölçüde dolaylı zararlardan sorumlu değiliz. Hukuken sınırlanamayacak sorumluluklar saklıdır.
8. Sonlandırma
Hesabını Sen sekmesinden istediğin an, sebep göstermeden silebilirsin. Bkz. hesap silme sayfası.
5. maddeyi ihlal eden hesapları kapatabilir ya da servisi tamamen durdurabiliriz. SewConnect'i bilerek kapatacak olursak, verilerini indirebilmen için uygulama içinde en az 30 gün önceden haber veririz.
9. Değişiklikler
Önemli bir değişiklikte sürüm numarasını yükseltiriz ve uygulama bir sonraki açılışta koşulları yeniden okuyup onaylamanı ister. Kabul etmezsen verilerini indirip hesabını silebilirsin.
10. Hukuk
Bu koşullara Türk hukuku uygulanır ve Türkiye mahkemeleri yetkilidir. Başka bir ülkede yerleşik bir tüketiciysen, yaşadığın ülkenin emredici tüketici hukukunun sağladığı korumalar saklıdır.
